I Wish…

July 25th, 2008

Today we created a “class collaboration” poem around the idea of “I wish…”

Each student wrote a line which had to include a fictional character’s name, a city or country and a colour.

Our audio engineer students (well done BJ, Jiya, Zoe and particularly Liam and Jack) then recorded the lines being read by each student and mixed in some soundtrack music and loops. A big day of work, well done to all of you – you all worked really hard. *YAWN* Don’t know about you kids, but I’m having a nap before the Grand Final Preview.

    I WISH I HAD A SWIMMING POOL,
    I WISH NORTH MELBOURNE WERE ON TOP OF THE LADDER ,
    I WISH I COULD MEET DANIEL RADCLIFF,
    I WISH SCHOOL WORK WAS EASY,
    I WISH I COULD MEET A FAMOUSE NORTH MELBOURNE PLAYER,
    LAST BUT NOT LEAST I WISH MR.GAMBLE WOULD GIVE ME A
    LOLLIE EVERYDAY!

    I enjoyed yours too Zoe, except that Nth Melb stuff :) . I’ll make you a deal: when North do get on top of the ladder, you’ll get a lolly from me everyday!

    I wish i was in Beijing in the pool I would swim
    I woud take off my green and gold jacket
    and I woud race against Grant Hackett
    Head to head we will race
    to be the one to win the race!!!!
    I wish I coud swim with Libby Lenton as she is my favourite
    It woud be lots of fun because I wonthe day!!!!!!

    Zoe good poem!My favorite part would be the lollies part.Maybe Mr G should give us lollies everyday since we do the work that we are told to do!
