Mr Gamble thinks we’re kool!

June 18th, 2008

It’s Jiya and Declan again with another blog.

Today we had a talk about why Mr Gamble thinks we are capable of doing things. Thats why we’re doing podcasting and blogging. On the first day of school Mr Gamble’s first impression of us was that we were willing to have a go at anything (even his funny yoga stretches). Then along came some extra activities such as Water Safety, Wilson’s Prom Camp and The Radio Show and then that’s when we proved to Mr Gamble that we were willing to have a go at anything. Now we want you to sent us some comments about when one of the 6Bers you know was willing to have a go.

Thats all we have now. We will be back next week. Bye!

Keien was willing to have a go at water safety. He stood up on the back of Mr Fish’s tinny. And at Wilson’s Prom Camp he was the first to get is bike to the end of the beach.

I am proud of all the students from grade 6b who had a crack at the Rugby Gala Day. Even though most of you have been bought up watching AFL you all still gave it a red hot go!!

Hi Sam, bass man. Let’s try for middle of term3, week 5 for the rock band. We can use the podcasting programs to help us, make sure we get ‘the bougster’ involved.

Now, you – write me a rhyme slime! And have a good holiday.
    MrG.

  22.   Sam on July 1, 2008 1:50 pm

    Hi 6B
I am Declan’s aunty and I think your site is great, but I do think Mr G should have a big break during the holidays. Trust me – I am a principal and I know what I’m talking about! The department pays us to have a break. please do so and you will be refreshed for term 3.
    GO PIES!
    Aunty Mary

  24.   mrgamble6 on July 4, 2008 10:14 am

Thanks Aunty Mary, you sound like a wonderful principal – ours is forcing me to slave over the keyboard all holidays; he’s a tyrant! (Is Mr Short reading this…:)).
No, your point is taken Mary – off to play golf and run for a couple of days. Not much to do here anyway – these Rhyme Slimes are very slow moving apparently…
Good luck to the PIES on the weekend (you’ll need it :P )
